Being registered
on WFP roster means that the supplier satisfies certain objectively justifiable
minimum requirements and has been added to the Roster of Potential Suppliers on
which WFP will make its source list for sending out Requests for Quotation, Requests
for Proposal or Invitations to Bid. It does not mean that the supplier will be solicited
to participate in a WFP procurement activity.
To
be registered, suppliers must meet the following minimum requirements:

Legal capacity to
enter into a contract.

Products/Services
offered are of interest to WFP projects & programmes, and / or the company holds
the necessary professional & technical competence.

Company has aminmum
of two years' experience as an established business.

Financial standing
as evidenced by submitting the last three years' audited accounts, or it's
equivalent.

Company accpets WFP's
payment terms.
-
Registration form
is fully completed & signed by company authorized official.
-
Any requested documents
are completed & returned to WFP.
In assessing
suppliers to determine their suitability for a particular procurement,
specific requirements may be taken into consideration, e.g.:

Current Products/Services
offered.
-
Ability to provide
installation, training, and after-sales services and / or maintenance in the countries
where the products will be used.

Ability to provide
technical manuals, instructions booklets and spare parts lists in the required language.
-
Readiness to dispatch
company staff to project sites.
Suppliers of goods/services are
welcome to register at WFP's roster by completing the WFP Supplier Registeration
Form.
