Our Partners

WFP has developed partnerships with several UN agencies, NGO organizations and Government institutions.

Studies and needs assessments, are carried out in close collaboration with UNRWA, FAO, WHO, UNICEF and the Palestinian National Authority institutions. In 2009, WFP and FAO will finalize the Comprehensive Food Security and Vulnerability Assessment in the Gaza Strip and West Bank, which will be available on the WFP, read more.

NGO partners such as Catholic Relief Services (CRS) and CHF International cooperate with WFP in food for work activities and food distributions.

School feeding is implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education for primary schools and with the Near East Foundation for kindergartens.

Food vouchers are distributed in collaboration with CRS and Action Contre la Faim (ACF) in the West Bank and with Oxfam GB in the Gaza Strip.

WFP and UNRWA are implementing a joint food assistance programme within the West Bank, targeting vulnerable Bedouin communities in the Israeli controlled localities of area C, affected by consecutive years of water scarcity.
